A penny to extend our mother's life for more years

My name is Fiona Ranario, and I am raising funds for my mum's operation. She is 78 years old. We are currently living in Manila, Philippines. She was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis (gallstones), and also on her kidney. She suffers from abdominal pain almost every day.

It's just me and my mum here in Manila, and my siblings are in Tacloban City. Due to the pandemic, the cost is too high for us to support her medical needs. We have to deposit half of the cost of the operation before they will do the procedure. Due to her pre-existing medical condition (diabetic, high blood pressure), she needs to do a series of test to make sure that there's no complication to the other organs. She already went to a several operations like:

- ovary was removed

- removal of her appendix

- giving birth for a Caesarean section 3 times

I am the only one who is financing her medical needs with the help from my family. With me being the bread winner, my salary is not enough to cover her medical needs.
