Surgery Lumbar microdiscectomy with IntraSpine

Hi there! Wish u have had a good year inspite of all the chaos. 2020 has been a crazy year with unexpected moments. One of them is the reason I'm reaching out to you.

I traveled two years ago to accomplish my dream of backpacking in europe. And although was a great experience , when I was there I suffered I back injury but didn't get treatment cause I was away from home. Time forward the pain has been increasing and 2 weeks ago I was no able to move my leg and experienced really accute back and left leg pain.

Went to the dr to receive treatment and ordered an MRI. The results of the MRI is a very sever herniated disc that's not common for someone my age. And because I'm starting to experience foot drop syndrome and the nerve is pretty compromise I need a surgery.

Due to my age and the rareness of the kind of hernia I developed, in order to avoid that from happening again in coming years or/and not suffer consequences when/if I get pregnant they want to do also a placement of an Instraspine that will function like the disc.

I was planning this year to study abroad and well I guess God has other plans. Or maybe I can still do it eventually.

There is some money (1500$)my family is putting in. However  to cover the total cost of everything we're still 2000$ short. 

It will be greatly appreciated it. I have been profoundly amazed of the kindness of the people around me , friends and family , and believe me I do not take that kindness for granted.

Whatever amount you are able to give even if is 5$, I'll be truly grateful.
