Please help my mother with her Breast Cancer Medication

I am Judilyn V. Caalim, daughter of Fidela V. Caalim. We are asking for help from you as much as you can give to continue the treatment of my mother.

Mom was diagnosed with “INVASIVE DUCTAL CARCINOMA (Breast Cancer-Right)

She was diagnosed with “INVASIVE DUCTAL CARCINOMA (Breast Cancer-Right)” that already metastasis in her bones, lungs, and liver. At first my mom didn't know that the lump in her breast was already a cancer. 26 years have passed but she didn't feel any pain in her chest, she even thought it was just a milk that accumulated in her chest, so she didn't worry about it. Until month of July 2019 came, she suddenly felt pain inside and she just massaged it because she thought there was just a vein got stuck but it didn't get better.

Until the day came that even the bones on her feet, hands and her backbones hurts so much. So we didn't hesitate to bring her to the hospital to be checked up on. But she doesn't like doctors and hospitals. She felt nervous and afraid because she had phobia in the hospitals, so we went first to different herbalists. The day came when we forced her to go to the hospital for her check up so even if she's against with it, she could do nothing but to follow.

January 2020 when we first brought her to the hospital at Calamba Doctors Hospital in Laguna and did the lab tests such as XRAY, MRI, and Ultrasound. When the doctor read the results and told us that my mother has suspected Breast Cancer and Metastasis in her bones. The doctor planned to perform a biopsy but my mother didn't agree because she was afraid to know what illness she has, so we just followed what she wanted. March 11, 2020 the day when we decided to just take her to the province for medical treatment because our relatives live there.

I'm the one who take care of mom

My mother and I are the only living at home because my father is an OFW in Saudi and my brother was on training on the ship that time. I took a 1 week leave on my job but unexpectedly, March 15 there was a COVID outbreak and because of that I wasn't able to go back home in Dasmariñas and return to work. It was okay for me so that I can take good care of her.

Mom was later diagnosed with Breast Cancer

We would like to have her treated at the hospital but because of COVID, there is no open hospitals for her. So we brought her to the herbalist and treated her with a massage but the pain didn't go away and it seemed to worsen as time pass by. She was so weak and thin. She could no longer walk and act properly. We endured for a few months even though she was struggling with her illness but she was able to cope up. Even we, are also struggling on how she will recover.

The day came for MGCQ and I was able to go to the hospital so we immediately took her there, had her checked, and forced her to have a biopsy. We saw on the result POSITIVE Breast Cancer. I cried a lot because I couldn't be able to cope with how I feel. Even with my relatives, I didn't know what to say to them. The doctor himself told my mother about her health condition and we gave her the strength to accept it. Because of that, I chose to stay by her side and took care of her until my company where I work, resigned me because I could not return to work. The doctor told us that she needs to undergo chemotherapy but her body couldn't take it and she didn't like it, so we didn't force her. We look for another way to alleviate her pain. Until she could no longer take it. She could no longer eat because she was weak, so we took her to the hospital. We found out that she was anemic, and needed a blood transfusion. After the transfusion she felt okay, but after a month she felt weak again, so we took her again to the hospital. She lacked blood again, needed transfusion until many tests did on her. Her platelet counts were also low.

Doctors did a CT Scan on her lungs and liver. I found out that the cancer cells had spread out. There were blood forming on her brain so the pain she felt was unbearable.

Please support us for additional budget for the medical treatment

SO I AM ASKING FOR YOUR HELP FOR ADDITIONAL BUDGET FOR MY MOTHER'S TRATMENT, because until now she's still confined at the hospital. We have a large fee and she still need to undergo several tests.
