The sad story of a gambling addict

Hello, I want to share with you my very sad and banal story, which happens to many in our time. I am a 19-year-old student who foolishly and naively thought that I could make money by gambling, but for a whole year I was only losing and losing. At first, these were not large sums (~ $ 1-2), but over time they became more and more, and I continued to stupidly and naively believe that I could make money on this business. This continued until I got credits and lost my job, which more or less kept me afloat. Then I finally realized that this was a very bad business and that I had big problems. It's sad, since childhood, I thought about how to help my parents financially, I was looking for different ways to make money on the Internet, since I was still a schoolboy and there was no better option. But in this way I only earned a penny, and in the end I got to the point where I lost a lot of money in gambling without earning anything. I have already put an end to my gambling addiction, but the consequences in the form of loans have remained, with which over time it will become more and more difficult for me to cope. Little by little, I have already begun to repay debts, but I am already running out of money, and there is no where to take them, because I am just an unemployed student. Parents do not know all about this. I don’t want to involve them, they don’t have a lot of money anyway, because they pay for my education, for my sister’s education, they spend a lot on medicine, because my mother and grandfather are ill. It makes me very sad to realize that I was only able to understand the pitiful nature of gambling when I got into debt. At the moment, I have to return 9,000 UAH (~ 330 $) - if you look, for many it is not such a large amount, but for a student like me, this is a lot of money, and even taking into account that time is running out. I know I am to blame for my problems, and I deserve them. As you yourself might have guessed, I very often think about suicide, which is the norm in my situation, but even this I cannot do, since my parents will have loans around their necks, who do not even know about them. This will be, for the most part, help not only for me, but also for my parents, because collectors will call them, threatening and forcing them to give loans to their stupid gambling addict. I really don't want that. I am very ashamed, but I ask you very much, help me at least a little, every penny may help me at least a little bit to get out of the pit of stupidity and debt. If you have a desire, but only one choice to whom to give money, then it is better to give it to the one who needs it more than me, but if you have an extra penny, then please help me. In the end, I want to say only one thing: do not repeat my mistakes, do not gamble, even if just for fun, it will still turn into addiction and can lead to even more problems than mine. If you have friends who follow my path, then please, help them, get them out of there before it's too late. Alcohol, smoking and drugs in any form are also evil, but that's another story.
