Please Support Me to Give a Free Education for Poor Children

Hi everyone,

Hopefully you are safe and well during this pandemic, I knew that the world is in pain and there are so much happening and changed because of this pandemic, you might be under locked down and restriction but hopefully you are in good health with the family and friends and still connected with people.

My concern on children education

My name is Levi, I live in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

I’m a freelancer Tour Leader, I lead the trip to Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumatra, Flores, Sumbawa and Lombok, as a freelancer when high season for tourism industry is coming then I’ll be very busy leading the trip (back to back) trip and when it’s low season I will have a lot of time free.

I saw a lot of things during my traveling, especially the condition of the children, there are so many of them didn’t go to school, since then I started to teach them to read and very basic math, culture and geography.

I believe that learning is not only at formal school, we can learn and teach anywhere we wanted. I decided to establish foundation, just to help and support the education of children. We’ve started to build a new building school and already received supports and donations from some you.

The Foundation

The foundation named Sasak Satu Swara Foundation, where we gave 100% free education for poor children in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

From 34 provinces in Indonesia, Lombok West Nusa Tenggara is one of the region with lowest human index level throughout Indonesia, most of the places are still very primitive and far away from good quality of education and schools.

The foundation is established on Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara where the tourism industry will be growing and booming in the next few years, so we belive that we need to prepare our human capital from now.

The Goals of The Foundation

This foundation is emerged to help and support poor children to have a good quality of education, as most of the children didn’t go to school as their parents cannot fund them caused the financial issue.

Our Programs

We teach Bahasa, English, math, geography, religion and cultures so that the children can understand where they are coming from and what they need to do in the future to have a better life and find a better job and to support their family.

We educate the children to collect the plastic and clean our environment, as the plastic is the biggest issues worldwide. We believe that by teaching and educating them the impact of plastic from the very beginning will be much more effectively for their life in the future and for the next generation.

Our Needs: please support us to complete the school building

As our first fundraising which is already succeed from this site that we have been building a new class room and the public library for the children but the building is not finish yet, we just need to make a roof and we need a certain amount of money to accomplish the school building.

The estimated budget for the roof and the library building is about IDR 50.000.000 or $3,300.
