Bringing smiles back to the children of Masisi, Africa

Hello Everyone!

I am Pedro Chavez, I am part of the Anubis Corporation (Lima - Peru - South America), which executes Humanitarian Support and Social Responsibility Projects for the benefit of children in extreme poverty, in the areas of: food, health and education. 

We have a project for the area of Masisi, which is located in the province of Nord Kivu, in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. This city is one of the areas that hosts the largest number of displaced people from the war. Children are one of the most vulnerable groups. The social and war conflicts have caused the country's development to be increasingly lower and the needs in nutrition, education, health, shelter, livelihood, basic needs and others are greater.

Our proposal has several objectives to be achieved gradually. The first objective is the provision of daily food rations.

The second objective is to systematically eradicate illiteracy among the population, improve the educational infrastructure and the materials to be used.

The third objective is to provide workshops in order to teach trades that allow them to generate income either individually and/or as a community group.

For the fourth objective, we have a team of Epidemiology professionals who will evaluate the health status of the displaced in order to provide the appropriate solutions.

Tll these objectives are motivated by the fulfillment of Human Rights (HR): "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security". Therefore, these important rights drive us to give hope and a better quality of life to the children of this area.
