Post-surgical assistance

Hi, I'm Cristina, I'm 39 years old and live in Brazil, in São Paulo. I have had idiopathic scoliosis since I was 12 years old. The scoliosis was stable for 20 years, and then it started to progress and in 6 years it went from 40 degrees to 50 degrees. I have a lot of pain and two years ago I opted for scoliosis correction surgery (arthrosis) and planned health insurance to fund the surgery. However, now that I am a little over 2 months away from scheduling the surgery and looking into everything that will be needed I realized that I need post-surgical care and I can't afford it.

These are: a new mattress, a suitable chair, and a caregiver to be with me for at least 20 days after the surgery.

Furthermore, after the pension reform by the current government my salary will only cover my rent and electricity bill. Nothing more. 

So I need a reserve for medicine and food in the months following the surgery, during recovery. 

Full recovery to a normal life takes about 6 months.

I will have the surgery at AACD here in the capital.

So I thought that with a virtual cow I might be able to raise the amount needed for the post-surgery care.

I have the privilege of having a job even at this time of the pandemic, but it does not allow me to get extras to reach this amount.
