Strengthening and uplifting the community.

My name is Amina. I made my shahada in 2015 and became Muslim. Since then I have been working towards being closer to Allah SWT . It has been easy with a supportive father who has a shop in the community a business of his own.  I live in London uk. I want to solve the problem of a God fearing person having less places to relate to in the community. When I visited Dubai I found there was a place of worship on every street being a Muslim Country. Mosques where welcoming and strengthening.  It would be a real advantage to open a shop that has everything for your sunnah and faith. This I find is supportive and uplifts the community. As well as a community development it will help me have a source of income and I hope it to be fruitful. I need the funds to start the shop as I have no savings. I hope for donations exceeding the project amount.  I didn’t just brainstorm the idea or think of it. It was actually when I attended the East London Mosque for Friday prayers and I made dua asking for a work of my hands that is befitting to Allah SWT and I had the revelation to distribute to the women hijabs head scarfs. At the time I was selling Islamic perfume to the sisters very small amounts. I later thought to add prayer mats and everything for prayer. I would hope to receive the complete amount this 2021 or enough to start and all the funds are to be used in the project only and profits will give back to the community as well as taking care of my dream to visit Mecca for the annual pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia inshallah.
