Fundraising for Baby Raizel’s Liver Transplant

I'm baby Raizel Nivera from the Philippines.

I am humbly knocking on your kind heart for financial assistance and prayers for my fast recovery.

I was diagnosed with Neonatal Hepatitis

I was born last August 10, 2020. After 2 months and thorough check-up, I underwent blood transfusion, liver biopsy and was diagnosed with Neonatal Hepatitis.

*Neonatal Hepatitis – is inflammation of the liver that occurs only in early infancy, usually between one and two months after birth.

My doctor gave me a medication that I need to take 3x a day until my (yellow) skin color will be normal.

I was also diagnosed with enlarged spleen

Last December 2020, they went back to the hospital as they’ve noticed that my stool has a blood. My doctor gave me the prescribed medicines to stop the bleeding, however, I was also diagnosed with enlarged spleen. (as shown in the pic, my tummy is bloated)

The doctor advised my parents that I need to undergo another ultrasound, urinalysis and new-born screening. Unfortunately, my family cannot take me back yet to the hospital as they are already financially exhausted.

We need your support to continue my treatment. Please help...

Due to COVID-19, it had drastically impacted our financial situation. Aside from expensive swab testing, medications and hospital bills, the transportation was also a struggle to my parents as they needed to travel for more than hour to reach the hospital in Tacloban City. It was the closest hospital which only had medical facilities that can treat me.
