Food for families most affected by the pandemic

Hello! Throughout the pandemic period, I have been able to give food support to some families, sometimes I have had the support of people close to my social circle and at other times I have financed it with my own resources. Being a woman head of household, I have felt the pain of many people not having how to bring food for their family putting myself in their place, as those of us who have children know that hunger in children does not wait and it must be very painful to have to tell a child who wants to eat that you have nothing to offer; so I have managed to empathize with the situation of some people which has become an engine to manage food for the less fortunate, as I mentioned before using my own resources or sometimes relying on other people. On occasions, we have been able to deliver clothes and toys, which for some of us becomes a hindrance, people in need receive it with love and gratitude as a great blessing.

Therefore, I decided to start this project whose initial objective is to purchase 60 markets for families in the border area with Venezuela, for no one is a secret the difficult humanitarian crisis in this area of the country and although the national government intends to deliver aid, the reality in the streets is painful just enough to go out for a short tour to find the hunger reflected in the faces and bodies of hundreds of people including children and it is very sad to know that an area where there was so much economic abundance today you only find needs.

The sooner we raise the funds the better, we know that hunger can't wait!.

Those who have supported me before, know perfectly well the way in which the resources were invested; however  for those who decide to help for the first time I explain, it is very simple: once the money is collected, we deliver a list with the market products to be included such as rice, lentils, chickpeas, oil, sugar, powdered milk, carton of eggs, chocolate, panela, various flours, beans, tuna, coffee, canned sardines, salt, among others. For the purchase of this list we have the support of a supermarket that has given us special discounts so that the budgeted market usually ends up with much more food than what we  listed or expanded the target and we have delivered to more families than we initially projected.

There is nothing more satisfying than helping those in need! Minutes of tribulation become eternity for those who do not have a light of hope, today we can be that little light in the lives of a few families.
