Dear Friends and Young leaders,

My name is Aimen Yousaf. I am a student of International Relations and also a social activist, living in Pakistan. I am writing the this fund request to ensure my participation in “Young Professionals Fellowship Maldives” for which I have been selected as a Self-funded delegate after a tough & competitive merit based selection. This opportunity can be a life changing move for my Educational, personal and Professional grooming. The fellowship will not only expand my national exposure to the International level, but will enable me materialize some of the innovative ideas to support my community. Pakistan is among those developing countries whose youth is facing immense socio-economic challenges as many post Colonial states are facing. Belonging to such a country I have been raised more like a self-made girl, whose mission was to envision the upcoming generations enriched and self-reliant. So, I have been engaging myself into community engagements along with my studies since the age of 14. Based upon my observations and early experiences I chose to work for young teens who are the future leaders of every nation.

Having the firm believe that Educating & training children can save us from many socio-economic issues in future I have completed many projects to give Teen Entrepreneurs and change makers to the society. My another aim was to promote activity based learning , modern learning in Pakistan for which I launched "Sunday School Project". Now I aim to a introduce a cross cultural, global platform of teens for which my participation in such fellowships will be really helpful.

Apart from that I love travelling and meeting people of different backgrounds.

Lastly I consider my self a struggling student and devoted social worker, who can achieve and give hundreds times more than now. So please fund my trip and contribute to my big cause.
