I am Liza B. Fangsilat, a member of MBBE Baguio, and I personally know and worked with PR Julius.

This project is for our beloved Preacher JULIUS GALINGAN

The life of Preacher JULIUS GALINGAN in Dubai, UAE

Preacher Julius Galingan worked as a Safety Engineer in Dubai, UAE. He was born in Sadanga, Mt Province, Philippines on October 12, 1972.

He completed his college education at the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio City.

As a young student, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and became an active church worker at the Metropolitan Bible Baptist Church (MBBC) Baguio City, then pastored by Pastor Sergio Juan Nolasco, Jr.

While in Dubai, he and PR Rommel Salvador, also an engineer, were appointed as Acts Preachers of MBBE Satwa. Then, MBBE Patriarch, Dr. Benny M. Abante, acknowledged and gave his blessing to the birth of MBBE Baguio - Dubai Care Station and was then recognized by the other congregations. On March 11, 2016, the first worship service, led by PR Julius, was held in Jabri Tower. The MBBE Baguio - Dubai Congregation is one of the foreign works of MBBE Baguio under Senior Pastor Serge Nolasco.

Preacher JULIUS funeral will be held here in Philippines

Towards the end of 2020, PR Julius was unemployed due to lack of projects resulting from the pandemic. Being the sole breadwinner of the family, he was supported by the Church then. With God's grace, he was given a project as year 2021 came in. However, he got terribly sick in February exhibiting symptoms of COVID 19. He was admitted to a hospital in Dubai on February 16, 2021, was intubated and remained in a coma until he succumbed to cardiac arrest on February 27, 2021.

According to Death Notification from the Ministry of Health and Prevention, United Arab Emirates (UAE), the direct and leading cause of death of PR. Julius is acute respiratory failure and the actual cause of death is pneumonia. His Covid – 19 PCR test result is “not detected/ negative.” Thus, his body (remains) will be brought home to the Philippines as soon as the documents processing be competed.

His wife, Brenda Galingan, and son, John Burj (age 4), will be going home to the Philippines as well.

He is home with the Lord - but his remains will be brought back home to his beloved Philippines. An OFW who loved his family, Church, and country, and God above all, let us all join our hands in prayer and share our resources and blessings for this man who served his Lord and his Church and country till the end.
