Save St. Jude children's home, Gulu - Uganda

Our home, St. Jude Children's Home

St. Jude is home to over 100 orphans from 0 to 15 years old, 30 of them are disabled while others are Children born with HIV/AIDS within the region and those who were abandoned.

Our dedicated founder recently passed away due to COVID-19 illness

Over the last 33 years the organization was under the guidance of Brother Elio Croce from Italy who had lived in Uganda from 1977. He dedicated his life at St. Jude and ensured all children got education, accessed clean water, health care and shelter over these years. His dedication and hard work has been greatly appreciated by the people of Northern Uganda to his point of death.

It is very unfortunate he passed on recently on the 12th November 2020 after acquiring COVID-19 which gave him no chance.

We need your support for the children's basic needs

With the on going COVID-19 situation and following the death of Brother Elio Croce, St. Jude Children's Home is drowning in sorrow and inability to access basic needs for the children.

As an initiative to keep the children at St. Jude hopeful and also ensure they can access health care, proper meals and education we have launched this campaign.

We do believe if each one of us can offer anything towards this cause to save the lives of these children, it will be more than enough for us to be able to provide them with basic needs and keep St. Jude Children's Home running for even the generation to come.
