An accident that changed my life

On July 19, 2010, I had an accident where I suffered a severe leg fracture that I spent 8 years trying to heal, after 23 surgeries.

Unfortunately, on June 2, 2018, my wounds were infected with two very aggressive bacteria, and I was on intensive antibiotic treatment, but we did not manage to eliminate the infection.

That was the moment when I had to make a difficult decision: amputation or my life. I was left with no other choice, so I spent a year raising funds for my prosthesis through raffles and donations.

Rehab to be able to recover

To this day, it is very important for me to be able to continue with my rehabs.

The rehabilitation process will last a minimum of 8 months and each 10-day block costs 4,200 Mexican pesos ($198 USD). I must also go to the doctor every 10 days, which has a cost of 850 pesos ($40 USD).

Currently, I am trying to get the doctor's appointment every 10 days.

I am currently trying to raise funds to be able to carry out my rehabilitation and get my life back.

And that's why I have been trying to raise funds for my rehabilitation.

And that is why I am coming to you so that I can achieve it, walk again and have a quality life.

I also need to change the socket of my prosthesis, since the one I am using makes it very difficult for my movements because it is very heavy and hurts my hip and back.

In order to solve this problem, I need a lightweight carbon fiber socket with a cost of $45,700 Mexican pesos ($2,153 USD). That's why the total I'm trying to raise through this project is $157,650 ($7,428 USD).
