Help me in my chemotherapy journey

Hello everyone,

As a parent you don't expect or cannot ever imagine that someone will tell you that your child has this kind of disease. It's hard to tell those people you've known or even relatives that my son John Vincent S. Gemino has leukemia. I remember them taking my son to his room that first day, and I will never forget that moment of entering. I stopped. I sat on my son's bed and sobbed. Our world had change forever.

Those first few days were our downfalls. When my son was discharged on the previous hospital in the previous weeks he had bag of prescriptions. We left that hospital thinking he was just having an anemia, and without thinking we brought him here in Cagayan de Oro city at Northern Mindanao Medical Center with leukemia. (That was the hardest part for us as a parent).

My son wasn't able to play from crowds, swimming, playing with his Titos in which these were supposed to be his everyday moments. Now, together with my husband and my strong son John Vincent S. Gemino, we're here in NMMC for the chemotherapy treatment of his acute lymphoma leukemia starting March 23 2021 until 2024.

We are helping our son to win this battle. To make sure that he's not just fighting on his own, because whatever ways it is just for his betterment we will find ways. His battles are ours too.

As we are all aware, the machines and equipment for the treatment are very much expensive. Therefore, we are asking you any amount you could offer and will be making sure that we will put your help to good use.
