Tzigane: a story worth telling

Who am I?: Good afternoon! My name is Anatoly Cheremukhin (https://www.facebook.com/anatolycheremukhin). I am a professional violinist, I conduct concerts in a chamber orchestra and, as a soloist, I teach. For the last 10 years I have been living in Valparaiso, Chile. What am I going to do?: In this project I will shoot a short film based on the music of M. Ravel "Gypsy".

In the plot of a short film, two worlds are mixed: the real world (recording studio, the violinist's playing, preparation for recording, a trip to the recording studio) and the imaginary world, consisting of images that pass through the violinist's head during the performance. The story tells about a young woman who left her home and wanders, she meets and falls in love with a man in the house where she was invited to wait out the rain.

Why ?: My dream is to show my audience not only music, that is, sound, but also to show them a story, a plot that I, as a performer, visualize in my imagination. This short film will be my first experience.

How ?: The funds raised will be used to pay for the actors, the operator, and also to cover the costs associated with the filming itself. The amount was calculated taking into account that the shooting will take 2 days.
