Help Grey with His Hernia Surgery

Hello everyone,

My good friend Eunice here in Monterrey, Mexico has a beloved seven-year-old cat named Grey.

Grey has an inguinal hernia, needs surgery

Grey hasn’t been himself lately so she took him to the vet for a checkup and found out that he has an inguinal hernia, which means his intestines are under the skin of his leg, instead of where they should be. This can be fixed with surgery, which will run around $150 USD (3000 Mexican pesos) including x-rays and medication. She also wants to get him neutered, which will cost $75 USD (1500 Mexican pesos) including pre-neuter blood work, anesthesia, and post-neuter care and check ups.

Let's help Eunice, so she could afford Grey’s surgery without sacrificing her tuition savings

Unfortunately, Eunice is paying for her own studies and is about to enter college, so she doesn’t have the funds to pay for Grey’s surgery. She is 16 years old and works every weekend, as well as picking up the occasional odd job.

She says (translated), “Grey is a cat that I really love. He has problems with his health and I want to help him but I don’t have the funds to do so. I am working to pay for my classes but I don’t even have enough to pay for my classes, that’s why I need your support for Grey’s surgery.”
