My name is Magda Duarte. I am the mother of 2 children, one 8 years old and the other 4 years old. My husband's name is Oswaldo Garcia, 40 years old. We are from Guatemala. 6 years ago he was diagnosed with diabetes. type 2.
About 3 months ago, they detected his diabetic foot and he could no longer work
Last year at the beginning of the pandemic he was fired from his job for the reason of the pandemic since they told him that his disease could spread quickly, he looked for work in other companies but they did not want to give him so Even with his illness, he started working as a bricklayer but about 3 months ago he had sores on his shins and I took him to the hospital where they detected his diabetic foot and he could no longer work, I have a job but it is not stable and I only earn for the food and the payment of the rent of the house where we live and I have no left to buy his medicines and less to pay for a doctor to take care of his illness.
The money raised is to buy insulin
He has stopped taking his medicine for 4 months because I can't afford to buy it for him, so I need his good heart to be able to buy his medicines.
The money raised is to buy him insulin since he uses two types of insulin and injects himself 3 times a day and takes two types of pills, I have to buy him geringas, cotton and alcohol to clean his wounds to that they do not get infected and set aside some creams to apply to the wounds so that they dry quickly and every month he has to do laboratories to see how his blood sugar levels are and I have to buy him a sugar measuring device.
I know that with your help my husband will improve his health and he will once again be that happy and loving father and I know that this is a test that we are going through but with the help of God and you we will overcome it
