HELP THIS FAMILY TO BE SAFE IN A GOOD PLACE...

We are a missionary family who currently lives in Colombia (South America): Henry is from Colombia, Oksana is from Ukraine and our 2 children were born in Ukraine. Henry & Oksana got married in Ukraine and lived there along 6 years, but in 2018 they moved to Colombia, with the purpose to serve the community in general.

Thinking about a better wellfare for our 2 little children, now we have the plan and desire to move to British Columbia, Canada, because the COVID-19 has created a really hard financial situation here and because the atmosphere is turning dangerous, due to the stressful political polarization that we live here and to the real risk that this country could fall into the hands of communism-socialism so soon, as happened in the neighboring country of Venezuela...

Right now, we have a very good opportunity to move to Canada. In mid-January 2021, we received a message from a missionary base named “YWAM” (Youth With A Mission), located in Grand Forks, British Columbia, in which they asked us if we would like to go there in August 2021 to serve the community, which we understood as the answer and confirmation from God to our prayers.

Oksana will work as a staff on helping to prepare the missionaries, Henry will be a student and staff there at the same time and Emanuel & Máximo (our 2 little kiddos) will study there.

The initial plan is to study and work for at least 6 months as a volunteers with this non-profit Christian missionary organization (the purpose is to stay at least 2 years with them, to work  in different social help programs for the Grand Forks community and surroundings), which means that we will have no salary, until Henry can get a work permit, after 1 year. During that time, we will need to spend money to pay for housing, bills, food as well as money to pay a training course for Henry (it is a requirement he must fulfill. Oksana did that course 25 years ago) For this reason, it will be necessary for us to count on your help...

The goal is to raise up here 1.500 USD by June 30th to help us with our expenses.
