Will you help me raise funds to treat my disease

Hi,

I'm Dory, my ears are long and my paws are short. I'm 6 years old. My breed is Basset Hound, but I'm known by Hush Puppies. I live in Bogota, Colombia; with my family and my brother Tomas (he is a German Shepherd, 11 years old).

About my chronic kidney disease

A year ago I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (IRIS CKD) level 4 (highest ⚠️), proteinuria, severely hypertensive, anemic, and 3 months ago mild to moderate mitral endocardial sis mitral (a disease in one of my heart valves ❤). Today, I live with half a kidney.

What are the symptoms of my disease?

- Inappetence.

- Vomiting.

- Deception.

- Little pee and/or very transparent.

- Not drinking almost no water.

- Uremic breath.

- Abundant dental tartar.

- Intolerance to exercise (I get tired very quickly).

- Pale mucous membranes.

Please support me to continue my treatment

For a year now, despite the seriousness of my illness and with the support and care of my family and the doctors who take care of me, I attend treatment every week so that my half kidney continues to function. I have good days and not so good ⛈. Still, I am a happy little dog , thanks to the love I get from everyone who knows and cares for me; despite my more than a thousand daily antics (I always like to get attention).

The costs of my treatment are high; they include fluid subcutaneous and intravenous therapies, hospitalization, constant medications for my ❤ and anemia, tests, appointments with specialists, and special food (although I don't like peps or medicated food).

In the next 3 months, I wish to raise funds that will help to afford and continue my treatment and thus receive the palliative care I need and help my quality of life.
