Raising funds for my Fiancé's Open Heart Surgery

Hello, everyone.

I hope you are all well. My name is Aileen. I am from Manila, Philippines. I am setting up this fund raising campaign to help my fiancé, Michael Guthrie who lives in Michigan for his medical treatment & surgery.

He’s been in Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan for more than 2 weeks now receiving treatment to straighten his diabetes, heart and legs problem. Any days from now he will be transferred to Detroit Hospital for further observation, treatment for neuropathy on his legs and to undergo an open heart surgery. As much as I want to be with him physically to take care of him, but sadly it’s not possible at this time. The only thing I could do is to be with him over the Video Call, pray with him & encourage him with God’s words and helping him through this crowd funding campaign.

When the pandemic hits last year, Michael was temporarily laid off from his work. When the company has finally called him back to work, he couldn’t get back due to difficulty in walking. He can't walk right and there was a time that he fell down in the parking lot when he went grocery shopping.

I am humbly knocking on your good hearts. If you have extra money to spare, it doesn't matter how small or big, please do not hesitate to help Michael. I love this man with all my heart and we had planned that he would come to the Philippines soon, get married and live here for good. With God's grace and with all your help, we can make this happen.

I will be sending the collected funds to her sister who is helping him out with everything.

Lord Jesus, we lift up to you our dear Michael. Thank you for his life, Lord. Thank you that no matter how hard this health situation he is facing now, we know that you got him covered. You got his back, always. While the world is not perfect but your love is perfect, Lord God. Your perfect love drives away our fears, our worries, and our doubts. Thank you that you give us not a spirit of fear but of love, power and sound mind. Father God we pray for Michael’s complete healing and fast recovery. We pray that the heart surgery be smooth and easy and fix what needs to be fixed. We pray that his blood pressure be normal and legs & feet be healed. We lift up to you all the doctors and nurses to bless their hands and please guide them and grant them wisdom to heal Michael. Thank you Father, Thank you Jesus. Thank you for dying on the cross so Michael can live. So that we can live Lord. May your name be glorified forever and ever!
