Support Me To Plant Over One Million Trees In My Community

Hello everyone,

My name is Lukola Katibu, a second year student at Kyambogo University here in Uganda.

CLIMATE CHANGE CRISIS IN MY COMMUNITY.

I am a climate change activist in my University, Community and in my country Uganda at large.

Our community is experiencing a climate change crisis and yet our leaders seem not to be bothered to react about it since the start of the year up-to-date and that means, they focus on other government programs but Not the next GENERATION.

People have and continue to lose their lives and property like animals, houses, plantations among others due to heavy rains that lead to severe uncontrollable floods every year. The heavy rains as earlier said claim over 200 people's lives and destroy their properties almost every year according to the research published by government in 2017.

It's upon this background that I have decided to come up with a campaign of planting over a million trees before the end of this year.

These trees are a reason for our lives because they are lungs for the whole world as they give us oxygen, I believe without them (trees), the whole earth will one day turn into a graveyard. It's time to perfect mother nature in our community and let the new generation prosper.

Dear brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, friends and relatives, help my community go green, help us go live, our mother earth is in DANGER.

I truly need your help to make our project a success because I cannot do this alone.

I truly need your support, I request everyone who loves Mother Nature and cares for its beauty and the next GENERATION to at least contribute a tree so that together, we can change my community and save lives and property
