CALL FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

We have identified within our range of action a 5 month old infant named ASHUZA BACHOKE female with a congenital malformation of the lower limbs and the left hand born in the Budaha group, Burhinyi chiefdom in Mwenga territory in the South Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We are raising funds to allow this infant to receive treatment for the correction of his malformation. The requested amount is $ 2,700 including the cost of hospital stays. And all the funds that will be collected will be used only for its treatment.

Our Organization, the Center for the Supervision and Recovery of Handicapped Children in Africa "in acronym: CEREHA asbl" has for mission to promote the rights children living with disabilities to physical protection, education, health, the exercise of civic and political, economic and social rights; Unswervingly support people with disabilities to become economically productive and socially active; and supporting orphaned children through an orphanage to realize their physical and mental potential.

The Goals we have set ourselves are as follows:

Restore confidence in children disabled through the organization of games and meetings with their peers from different countries and different continents; Support children and young people with disabilities in their education; Ensure literacy training for young people with disabilities and train them in income-generating professions; Fight against begging by people living with disabilities in general and children in particular throughout the DR. Congo; Contribute to the professional reintegration of people living with disabilities by creating jobs; Contribute to the eradication of polio, meningitis and other epidemics raging in the DRC; Help children with disabilities to easily access quality medical care and information through New Information and Communication Technologies; Fight against the poverty of people with disabilities; Advocate for the rights of people with disabilities; Support accessibility for people with disabilities to public infrastructure and specific housing for their disability; Support the free movement of the disabled on the African continent in general and in the Great Lakes countries in particular; Organize an orphanage for orphaned children. & Nbsp;
