survive in the midst of the COVID-19 virus outbreak

Hi,

My name is ZAINUDDIN, I am from Lombok Indonesia, I want to share a story about the life I lived after the virus outbreak attacked the world and Indonesia in general.

I will start this story from before the virus attacked the city where we live.

I live in a village called Senggigi village. Senggigi village is one of central tourism in Lombok.

My daily job is as a driver at a hotel in the Senggigi area, but after the virus outbreak came to attack, fate said otherwise, I had to accept the fact that I was one of the employees who was laid off or rested because the hotel was no longer operating because no tourists came to visit our island.

Long story short, after I stopped working at the hotel, I had to find a way to survive to support my wife. I took the initiative to sell snacks and various small snacks on the roadside, but it didn't last long, only a few months, because of the lack of interest in shopping people due to difficult economic conditions.

After that, I looked for another way to survive by joining in fishing with my father. My father is a small fisherman who used to use a small boat to catch fish. Until now I still survive by relying on nature, namely catching fish.

The reason I share this life story is because we are in a very difficult economic situation, this is not only the story of my life but also the life story of my family, my brothers, my nephews and nephews, they are all experiencing economic difficulties at this time,

Not only that, my parents' health is currently in an unhealthy condition, my mother has leg pain that sometimes can't walk and can't do activities like people in general, and my father's condition has been suffering from a cough that doesn't go away for a long time.

The house where my parents live is still not finished, only 50% of the building has been completed, after the earthquake that hit Lombok in 2018 ago.
