Environmental and Humanitarian Education for kids.

Hello everyone,

My name is Tarryn. I am from The Little Earthlings Club NPC. I started this initiative because I want to make a lasting change and a difference in our world. We call our kids Little Earthling Heroes!! Saving the world one cause at a time!!

It is so important to teach kids to be kind, have empathy for others and to take care of all creatures on our planet. They are the future. And all they are learning now is how to use technology-which is great! But we are seeing kids become more distant from each other, bullying is on the rise and even worse than ever before because of cyber bullying. Our kids are desensitized to crucial issues that affect us all on a global scale. They need something to ignite their curiosity, get them off their iPads, cell phones and computers and encourage them to do more!!

I have been working with children since I left high school in 2008. I have always found joy in mentoring, teaching and taking care of kids and have always been someone who thinks of the environment first and spreads the word of any issues to try make more people aware.

My goal for The Little Earthlings Club is to reach as many kids as I can and get them involved in various meaningful projects and causes that will teach them about environmental issues we are facing and evoke kindness, compassion, love and empathy for other people, their friends, classmates and each and every living creature on this planet.

We have been focusing on beach clean ups since 4 September and we have about 16-20 kids from different schools who have showed up, had a blast, cleaned the beach, learned that its important to recycle, make sure trash doesn't end up in our oceans and to protect our ocean health and sea life.

We are creating this airfunding campaign because we need funding in order to keep the NPC running. Just as any business, we need to cover the day to day costs (some examples are internet, calling/airtime, internet, petrol, stationary costs, online marketing, print marketing, incentives for the kids for attending the causes and completing projects, funds to donate to charities of the kids choices, permits, organising and coordinating toy drives/events/award ceremonies for the Little Heroes/setting up of projects/promotions etc.)

If you would like to make a donation we will be so grateful!! It will help us reach more kids and be able to arrange more important and meaningful projects for our club members to get involved in.
