Support for Schizophrenic patients

Hello everyone,

We, a group of 8 Victoria University Business College (VUBC), Sunway College students have kickstarted Project Never Alone. This project aims to assist the residents of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia that are currently facing a food shortage due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to raise awareness on Schizophrenia.

Let's lend the residents a helping hand

Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia is a non-profit center located in No. 11, Seksyen 3/57A Petaling Jaya, 46000, that houses a total of 17 residents who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia. It has been officially registered and certified by Malaysia and operates independently.

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that can affect an individuals’ sensory interpretation and has the potential to impair daily functioning. Thankfully, schizophrenia is treatable and can be treated effectively through the use of medicines and psychological support.

Due to the unstable situation brought about by the pandemic, it has been difficult for people to visit and provide assistance. This has also adversely affected their finances as there have been less donations and they were unable to obtain sponsors.

We would like to request your assistance in aiding the residents of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia. The funds raised will be used to purchase food supplies for the residents and other equipment to alleviate their financial burdens. We also have expanded our scope of activities that also require us to provide equipment such as an iPad and gardening tools to the residents.
