Matvey, my nephew, was born in 2003, in the city of Kostroma, since childhood he was actively involved in sports (as a result - a golden TRP badge, numerous awards and medals). Studied well and easily. In June 2021, Matvey graduated from the eleventh grade and entered the military academy of the RHBZ, which he dreamed of since studying in the cadet corps. And a week before the training camp, a tragedy occurred; while diving in the pond, Matvey received an injury to the cervical spine, a fracture of the seventh vertebra. Then he was paralyzed. Doctors performed the operation, then the parents took Matvey to rehabilitation. After the first course, positive dynamics are already visible: Matvey learned to roll over, sit down, eat on his own, learn to dress. For the first course they paid 336 thousand, for the second - 288 thousand). For an ordinary family from a small town, the amounts are very impressive. Parents sold the car, put up an apartment for sale. Teachers organized a gathering in schools. Rehabilitation will take a long time, according to the compulsory medical insurance due to bedsores, we were denied in many state institutions, therefore, in order to undergo early rehabilitation, we have to seek help. For the next course we need more than 600 thousand rubles, rehabilitation is planned at the end of November, as the required amount will be collected. The collection is being held for the Three Sisters center, where people with similar injuries are put on their feet. Matvey dreams of returning to his academy, and his dream helps him gradually move towards recovery.
