Neuter Community Cats - Batch 01

Hello!

I'm Jepoy from Quezon City, Philippines and I would like to ask for your help to finance the neutering of several community cats that my father has been feeding for a few years now. As of now, he has been feeding 16 cats.

A veterinary clinic near us is offering spay/neuter services at the following rates:

MALE - Php 700 (approx USD 14)

FEMALE - Php 1200 (approx. USD 24)

Additional medicine per cat- Php 1000 (approx. USD 20)

If we're to neuter these 16 cats, the total amount will be close to Php 14,000 or approximately US$280. This amount however only covers the neutering service. A cat may or may not need additional medications after surgery that is why I am asking for help to raise at least Php 17,000 (US$350). Excess money that will be raised will be used to buy food.

Please help us give them a better life.

A neutered cat has reduced chances of breast cancer, uterine infections, pyometra for females and testicular cancer for males. There will be no more heat cycles and behavioral changes, resulting in a happier and well-adjusted temperament. There will be no more urges to find a mate, which reduces cat fights. Neutering them will also reduce the number of unwanted pets, which will decrease the number of homeless and starving animals.

Once they're neutered, they'll be released back to our street or if you're interested, you can adopt them. I will post an update and include photos of each cat.
