Academic achievement rewards tour for ADHD student

Dear potential sponsor,

I am fundraising for myself, Maronique Grobbelaar, I am a 14-year-old grade eight girl in Waterkloof Highschool in Pretoria, South Africa. I have been working extremely hard to get to where I am. Getting good grades has been difficult for me, from a young age, because of my ADHD and dyslexia. But all my hard work has finally paid off. All the children calling me names and weird because of my difficulties, are now jealous of my success.

Help me to travel to the USA to go on an academic tour

I am now one of my grade’s top academic achievers and because of this I have been invited to travel to the USA to go on an academic tour next year September/October 2022. The tour includes private guided tours of MIT, Harvard, Yale, and many other academic institutions as well as historic sites. There is an optional 4 days, 3 nights in Florida at Disney and touring NASA and having lunch with an astronaut, but it comes at an additional cost, so if I can only get the funding for the standard tour, it would be a dream come true.

Unfortunately, my parents are not able to afford the amount of money needed for me to reap the benefits of my success. A deposit of USD 700 is payable by 31 October 2021 and the balance of the outstanding amount can all be paid at once, if funds are available, or in smaller payments to the total amount of USD 6,500.

I would be extremely thankful for any contributions, as this might be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. If I mange to secure the funds, it would be the ultimate reward for me as a young girl struggling to make my mark in society due to my learning disabilities in a mainstream public school. I have long dreamt about my first international travels and my first opportunity to travel by air. Your kind heartedness could make all my dreams come true.
