me and sisters battle with cancer

Hello!

I am Mary Jane de la Cruz from Dilasag, Aurora Philippines. I was a frontliner during the outbreak of the pandemic. I was diagnosed with breast cancer stage 2B last January 2017 and on July of 2018 it progressed to stage 4 with bone metastasis.

I fought cancer twice, had undergone adjuvant chemothery twice, underwent 16 cycles of radiation as palliative treatment and currently on lifetime targeted chemotherapy.

I lost my job last year due to the pandemic. Having fighting this disease for 4 years now has caused great toll on my family's finances.

Two months ago my sister Marienne was diagnosed too with breast cancer stage 4 with lung metastasis, she will be needing lifetime chemotherapy, medications and palliative care as well. She requires continuous oxygen therapy to be able to breath comfortably. Then a few weeks ago our elder sister, Lucila, with physical disability was diagnosed with uterine fibroid or myoma, the doctors advised for immediate operation because of her bleeding. The three of us require long term medical treatment.

My goal is to raise support for our treatment and additional costs in hopes of prolonging our lives and provide best possible care. All funds will be used for medical treatments, medications, nutrition and quality of life support including special milk powder to help cancer patients gain weight and increase energy while on treatment.

We have spent so much on our treatment which has exhausted all our financial resources, and extra money given by our families and friends. Right now the family's income has gone down to nothing because my sister was diagnosed with cancer too and totally dependent on oxygen support which immobilized her to do any work. With our current situation it had been financially, emotionally and mentally challenging to our aged mother who solely takes care of my two sisters.

We are humbly asking for your help. Please help me and my sisters in supporting our medical care. We desperately need your support, no matter the amount to give us in hopes for more days to celebrate the gift of life. The the deadline for fund raising is uncertain since it requires for us to have lifetime of targeted chemotherapy coupled with lifetime intake of oral medications.

We will be forever grateful for any support you can offer. I really appreciate your support and prayers so we can stay alive.
