I need help with legal fees to fight parental alienation

For those who don’t know the full story, this is a shortened version of the background.

I decided 2 years ago that it was time to file for divorce. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I felt I couldn’t live anymore being so unhappy in a situation. I never thought I would end up dealing with such a vindictive, selfish person who would use an innocent child as a pawn.

I have been fighting for all this time to have decent visits with Gracie, to no avail. I cannot take her out, I cannot take her or fetch her from school. I receive no information unless it comes through my ex’s mother, sometimes on the sly with a request to not say that she has said anything. This is done in person as my ex regularly checks her mom’s phone messages to check what she is telling me.

I see Gracie usually twice a week, for 2 hours at night when it’s dark already. Of my ex gets it in her head that she thinks there’s a chance for us again, then we can take Gracie out together, when I try to tell her as nicely as possible that it’s over, I’m back to restricted visits, usually in her parents flat at the house they all live in, which I pay for. I get the most horrible of messages from my ex, claiming Gracie hates me (my little 4 year old angel is not capable of hate), that she doesn’t want to see me (her reaction when I go there when my ex is at work says something completely different), etc.

My ex wants her lawyer to take away my parental rights - Gracie was conceived with IVF using donor egg & donor sperm, so legally I am her parent as well. I already have social services confirming that I am also a parent, not unfit, & should have proper visitation. Needless to say my ex has refused. In the meantime, I worry that she will poison my child against me. The psychological damage she is doing to an innocent child, we will only know later in her life.

My lawyers have now suggested that I file for a Rule 43, which is an interim verdict until the divorce gets to court, if it ever does! This will allow me proper visitation & the chance to take Gracie out, even if it’s just to the corner shop to buy an ice cream - the smallest of things that other parents can do & take for granted.

I don’t have the money to pay them for this & this is why I’ve started this fund. The sheriffs office is only open until 15 December, otherwise I have to wait until they open in January again & risk the chance of not seeing my little angel again until this is all sorted. If anyone can spare even a few cents to help, every bit, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated & I’ll make sure Gracie knows everyone helped to save our precious bond.
