I want to help a single mom post a house fire

Hello everyone,

My name is Mbalenhle, I am mom of 2 boys, a friend and sister.

I am starting this project to help my childhood friend whose house was set alight on the 1st of December 2021 whilst she was sleeping with her son in the house. She fought so hard to try find a way out of the house and could not find a way out. She eventually ran to a room at the back of the house where they shouted for help, her neighbours heard their screams and came to the rescue. They managed to break burglar bars and took them out through the window and they were taken to hospital.

She suffered burns to her face, arms and hands she also suffered smoke inhalation, her son was lucky to have survived with minor smoke inhalation was discharged the following day from hospital. My friend Lerato remains in hospital receiving treatment.

I want to help her recover some of what's lost in the fire so she has one less thing to worry about during her recovery. She has been there for me through the most difficult times of my life, recently when I lost my life partner whilst I was 32 weeks pregnant she was the first to get to my house and stayed with me. I know in any situation she would be there for me and so I want to be there for her in all ways too. Being a single widowed mom I know how much financial help means and she's also a single mom so I know she will fully appreciate this.
