Please Help Us for Our Daughter's Operation

We are a family of Venezuelan emigrants who have resided in ICA-PERU since March 2017. In the month of May of the year 2021, my wife went to a consultation for reasons of menstrual delay and discomfort, where the result was positive for pregnancy and after 3 months we found out that they were twins (2 babies), at the fourth month of pregnancy.

They order her to do a morphological echo to know what conditions the babies are in, to know the sex and to rule out any disease or malformations that they may have in order to treat them and have better prenatal control, in that echo it was seen that the babies are female, size, weight, breathing, all normal, but one of the babies at the time of the examination saw a small lump at the base of her spine and they diagnosed it as Meningocele, time went by, it was made another echo and maintained the diagnosis.

On Friday 11/19 we went to the ICA regional hospital for emergency, because my wife had mild contractions, there were more tests and evaluations, she was also administered medication to reduce the contractions since she was almost 7 months pregnant but at 8 o'clock at night that same day, we were referred to Lima, since the hospital did not have the necessary implements or specialists to attend and care for my wife and the babies, if the delivery was early.

We arrived at the María Auxiliadora Hospital in the early morning of Saturday 11/20 (2:00 am) and my wife was admitted for emergency, and on 11/25/2021 she gave birth to two beautiful babies at 8: 2 am and 8:03 am, identified as twin 1 and twin 2 López Ravello.

Twin 1 was born with low weight for her gestational time and twin 2 is the one with the prognosis of meningocele, then 12 hours old, she was taken to the operating room where the pediatric neuro surgeon ruled out the pathology of meningocele but discovered a tumor that the laboratory results identified as Maduro Teratoma. They have performed tests such as magnetic resonance imaging, contrast tomography, alpha-fetus protein and other additional studies for their evaluation and to know if the tumor is malignant or benign.

We need the money collected at this time, and it will be It will be used for the expenses of medicines, exams and another possible surgical intervention, apart from we have transportation, housing and food expenses, since we are not from Lima, we live and work in ICA, so we are far from home and due to the situation, I must be in the hospital pending to sign an authorization, that they lack some medicine to run, look for it and hopefully be able to find some medicine or implement and be lucky enough to be able to find it cheap, while my wife must be in the lactation room to to be able to leave milk for the two babies. We do not have the necessary financial resources to be able to confront the whole situation. We earnestly ask you to heed our call and support us.
