Let's Help Siargao

Hello everyone,

On December 16, 2021 super typhoon Odette/Ria hit our lovely island, Siargao. The wind was terrifyingly strong ranging from 260kph up to 315kph. A storm surge also happened to cause the island to be fully washed out. Most houses, restaurants, and resorts are fully destroyed. Leaving the people no choice but to evacuate and leave their homes without any food, cold, and hopeless. Roads are blocked by the fallen trees, electrical posts, and roofs that flew off from the establishments. Drinking water, food, and fuel are running out, So some people started looting out. With no electricity and signal, people are becoming more hopeless for they can’t contact their loved ones nor get help. I, myself, have experienced this tragedy and seen in my own eyes how people lost their homes, livelihood, and hopes… And how badly the typhoon destroyed our dear island.

These people need our help. A little kindness and support from us would be a really big help for them. This fund-raising is for the victims of the typhoon and will be all distributed to them.

We will also organize an event called “DRINKS FOR A CAUSE” once again in Manila and Pampanga to gather profit that will be added to the fund-raising. We will be prioritizing buying drinking water, food, water filters, medicines, and building temporary houses for them.
