Flood Funding for Lili and Family

Dear all,

I believe you have seen the news regarding flash flood that occurred in peninsula Malaysia this past few days since 17th December. One of my colleague has been badly affected by this disaster and her house is total loss. Before that, let me tell you more about her.

Her name is Norhalili, 25 years old and came from a family of four. Pictures below showed the situation at her house when the disaster hit. Furnitures and household stuffs, including her family car have been washed away by flood.

Only god knows how much pain they have suffered when the flood hit

On 18th December evening, water has raised rapidly till the top part of her house. On 19th December, she and her family have to evacuate from there and they were temporarily relocated to the nearest flood relief center. She was almost drown and for god sake all her family were saved, including her beloved pets, cats. Due to submerging in flood water for too long whole waiting for rescue, their body have swollen and turned pale. In addition they have not eaten anything as the foods supply at home were just finish. Imagining being in their shoes, only god knows how much pain they have suffered.

Many works need to be done.

Today, on 21st December, she can finally go back home to do cleaning. We all going to help her out doing the cleaning as the aftermath of flood is really bad. Below are latest pictures of her house. Many works need to be done.

Let's help to ease her financial burdens

Perhaps with this project, I can raise as much funds as possible to ease her financial burdens. There are lots of repair needed to be done and also she needs to start from the bottom again. Thus, I plead the public to donate to her account below, little means a lot. Thank you very much.
