HELP SANYU CHILDREN'S HOME TO SEND CHILDREN BACK TO SCHOOL

Dear all,

I'm Kayaka Yassin, I'm so happy to share with you what exactly needed for our children in the orphanage, located in Jinja District Uganda Africa to go back to school this year.

I do help vulnerable children from rural areas of Jinja district. Sanyu Children's home has registered 57 orphans/vulnerable children from Jinja rural community, but still there is overwhelming number of vulnerable children from neighbouring district, that I would like to support too in future in case I get support.

WE ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Recently the president of Uganda opened up schools officially after a long lockdown of two years, this lockdown significantly affected our project because it decreased our ability to collect funds as we used to receive funds from community contributions and from some churches and volunteers.

Therefore our children are crying and starving because we are not able to support them all to go back to school due to limited sources of funds.

Most children are from very poor families in that they can not even afford a single school requirement and other children lost both their parents and are being cared by their grandparents,

Therefore we are so desperate to educate them and providing all fundamental basic needs since we depend solely on donations and community contributions, we do not have any sponsor or funding organisation yet.

We are requesting for $7,000 for a annual budget.

This would help us to cater for school fees and other school requirements as seen below:

School tuition $1,660 per term (3 terms in a year)

School uniform $420

School shoes $380.

School bags $200

Books, pens, sets and pencils $189

Feeding at school $800
