Every child is SPECIAL and UNIQUE.
I am Blanche Miole, a stay-at-home mom with 4 kids from Dipolog City, Philippines. My eldest daughters are twins. They were both diagnosed with Autism at the age of two. Every day they experience a meltdown that usually lasts 30 minutes to an hour. Screaming, crying, repetitive movements, and stomping are common scenarios in our household.
I want to make a sensory room for them, where they can feel calm, supported, and focused. A sanctuary for escaping sensory overload, a reward for good behavior, a tool for self-calming, and a therapeutic space for building skills.
I don't have a deadline, I feel it would be rude to set out a deadline. The funds that will be collected will be used to buy artificial grass, puzzle mats, regulation swing, peanut massage ball, toss rings, chew toys, flashcards and other sensory toys.
