Baking and pastry arts

Hello everyone,

I have always loved food. Eating it of course, but more than that, the preparation process has always been fascinating to me.

Memories come to mind of when I was a child and my mother would call me into the kitchen when she was making supper or baking her favorite scones, just so that I could keep her a little company. What she may not have realised was that she was in fact inspiring me towards the love of all things food. As I grew into a young lady, my appreciation of good food prepared well, pastries in particular, grew with me to the point where I began seeing myself as a professional in the industry.

Unfortunately, my passion and desire were not possible to activate because of financial challenges in mine and my family’s lives. I found that instead of chasing my dreams, funds were seemingly better used to ensure shelter, food and the bare basics of life for my mother and siblings. I have not wavered in my responsibility towards my family; I have however grown into a place where I can continue supporting my family while actively working towards my childhood dream and I will put my very best foot forward in achieving my dream.
