Fire Truck Repair and Rennovation

Hello everyone,

My name is Victor Lantin from Pasig City NCR Philippines. I am a member of Pasig Brotherhood Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Fire Brigade Inc. a Fire Volunteer Group and a non-government organization that helps and save lives and properties for FREE. Last Sept 2009 our city was hardly hit by one of the most devastating tropical cyclone in the Philippines “Typhoon Ondoy”. Due to extreme heavy rains, water rose so fast that majority of our town was submerge in flood water. To provide immediate assistance and evacuation to the families trapped in low lying areas, we used our fire truck to rescue the victims.

Unfortunately, the engine and transmission was heavily damaged and was no longer operational after the incident. Moreover due to short of funds the fire truck was junked for more than a decade. The total cost of the repair (engine and transmission plus transfer case) plus the restoration of the entire firetruck (body repair, electrical and repaint) is up to $10,000.

Me and my fellow fire volunteer firefighters are asking for your kindness in helping raise the much needed funds for us to be able to help our community and save more lives and properties.
