Please help Ciam take her little leg out for a walk

Hello everyone,

My name is Juan Ignacio Soto Ramirez, I am 22 years old, I am from Campoalegre (Huila, Colombia).

The objective of this fundraising project is to improve the quality of life of a kitten which I found a long month ago and was run over, this is the story:

A month ago I found a stray kitten in the Caraguaja neighborhood in the municipality of Campoalegre (Huila, Colombia). It was dirty and full of fleas, so I decided to adopt it. It has been a very special kitten, quite tame for being a stray and very loving, now called Ciam.

Everything was going well, however unfortunately he had an accident, he was hit by a motorcycle on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 outside my home at night (I was taking care of Siam trying not to leave, however he left without I noticed through a window of my house).

Campoalegre is a small town, therefore there are no veterinarians with the necessary equipment to take x-ray exams or specialists on the subject, so I took Siam to the nearest city, which is Neiva (Huila, Colombia), honestly I I was very optimistic because he didn't seem to have any bleeding problems when defecating and he didn't have any external injuries either, in the afternoon they gave me the diagnosis, according to the x-rays taken, the shock caused him to fracture his femur and he suffers from a lot pain because of it.

With this project I would like to solve the Ciam fracture through orthopedic surgery and thus improve its quality of life since for a feline this type of trauma implies too many lifestyle problems . The cost of the surgery is 1,600,000 COP ($433 US dollars approx.) on average in the available veterinarians in the city of Neiva and the idea is to do this as soon as possible, the funds will be used to cover the costs of the surgery. orthopedics, hospitalization and kitten therapies since currently in Colombia we are going through an economic crisis due to the inflation of the local currency, therefore the amount of money is quite considerable for an average Colombian like me and the savings I had was destined for taking Ciam's exams and painkillers.
