MyUBETA! Web/Mobile app for Students in West Africa

Hello everyone,

My name is Opeyemi Olaoye of PVF Global Services Nigeria. Am a software Developer and an ICT Instructor at Goshen High School Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria.

What is MyUBETA?

MyUBETA! Stands for My Universal Basic Education Test and Assessment. A web and mobile educational app designed with UBE, NECO/WAEC and JAMB curriculum for Primary and Secondary students across all anglophone countries in West Africa.

Why this project (MyUBETA)?

This project was birthed as a result of personal life experiences of the Promoter (Opeyemi Olaoye) who as young student were faced with unusual challenges of having to carry 5 to 10 heavy textbooks everyday while trying to get  ready for an approaching examination or continuous assessment exercise. These unusual challenges resulted in a resolve to create this digital entity (MyUBETA) and in order to make life easier for the present and coming generation of students as we all know we are in digital era.

How it works?

1. www.myubeta.com where Users (students) can directly assess MyUBETA shall be created. We shall link every results and reports of assessment to Ministry of Education’s server, teachers, parents and guardians’ email for them to be able to keep tabs of the progress of the users (students)

2. MyUBETA mobile app shall be designed and made available on Mobile market platform (Google play-store, Apple store, Microsoft store etc.) for free download. The raised fund will be used for creation, development, maintenance and distribution of MyUBETA across West Africa.
