Girls Empowerment Program (Education & Entrepreneurship)

Hello everyone,

We are a non-profit organization working to empower women and girls, especially adolescent mothers through education, mentoring, advocacy, skills training, scholarships, and micro-business support.

USE OF FUNDS

This project supports girls from underprivileged homes to access National Vocational Training Institute(NVTI). We do this by giving one-time but sustainable support to hardworking girls, who are determined, driven, and hopeful to further their education through career technology and have a better life. Our scholarships are not limited to vocational training but a proven record of commitment, hard work, and the zeal for a better life.

From 2020 to 2021, we have been able to support over 15 girls. These girls including adolescent mothers have proven themselves by excelling in their examinations and hands-on practicals and giving back to society through varied community service activities we have organized for them.

The times we are in now are hard as a result of Covid-19 and this means many more girls may be left out if care is not taken. This is why we are here again to seek your support to empower these young women. We have received applications from amazing young ladies looking for opportunities to better their lives. We know the times are really hard but life would get harder for these ladies if we don't mobilize support for them now. Every little amount you donate will compound with that of others to give them the push they need. Thank you so much as you give from the deepest part of your heart to support these young ladies.

Use of Funds% 70 of the funds raised would be used in paying agreement fees, purchasing sewing machines, and other relevant materials for twenty (20) teenage mothers. %30 of the fund raised would be used to sponsor the education of adolescent mothers returning to High School.

This we hope will give each one of them a head start in life as we work together with them and their guardians to pay for their subsequent fees.
