Opening of a children's home 2nd stage of education Montesori

Hi, my name is Evangelina and I have 40 years, 14 of these last dedicated to the education of children of primary stage.

I work in Cordoba, Argentina and  in our country the only education that is imaparte  is the one proposed by the education system. For some time now I have been observing a change in the new generations and it is evident that in the schools the education that is being given does not cover everything that the new generations need.

In a TRADITIONAL school: The child is protected and acted upon until later ages. In a  MONTESSORI school: The child is trusted, and his autonomy is encouraged, providing a safe environment adapted to his size and needs.

The opening date of the first stage of the project that would give space to children between 2 and 4 years old would be February 2023 . Basically I need support as classroom is adapted exclusively to the needs of the students, what is in the environment, must have a proportion related to the size of the students so that the material they contain is within their reach.

The environments for the smallest for example have low shelves, chairs and low tables, which should be heavier to support them,  a reading corner, child-sized kitchen tools and everything to their size. 

On the other hand Montessori schools use Montessori material. It is not just any didactic material, it is a specific material of the pedagogy that Maria Montessori created. 

The material is accurate, precise and real. You are going to find specific material for mathematics and geometry, for language, sensorial, geography, biology, beads, wooden geometric figures, bells, and also other materials are used that are also real and washable. For example we use glass cups, metal cutlery and everything that we find in everyday life, proportionate to the size of children.

Open and orderly shelves are also needed (from left to right in order of their sequence in the curriculum, from the simplest to the most complex.

All that is what I need to buy to put together this space and although I have my stable job as a teacher things in my country are quite complicated is the economic environment. I wish from my heart to be able to open this space so that there are families with children who have the possibility to choose an alternative type of education to the traditional one and that this is promoting peace...small seeds in a world that every day needs more people who promote peace.
