I want to help my daughter on her hospitalization

Hello everyone,

My name is Jerome Reyes 41 years old and a factory worker and my daughter's name is Aleckxa Mae Reyes 18 years old and a 12th grade student who just graduated last July 13 while she was in the hospital and were from Olongapo City, Zambales Philippines.

My daughter was rushed to the hospital last July 3 in the evening due to severe pain on her stomach and she was vomiting already, she could not pee or bowel and having a hard time walking.

The following day the doctors examined her and test her urine and blood. At first they found a high level of bacteria on her urine and thought it was a urinary tract infection only but when they treated it and still she was not getting any better and she became unconscious already.

With all the symptoms they found, the doctor perform a lumbar puncture on her back to test the liquid. The doctor's diagnosis after testing the liquid was tuberculosis meningitis. She was already having a hard time breathing on the following day then on the 9th of July 2022 the doctor intubate her to help her on breathing and a tube also being put on her nose to feed her liquid food because she could not swallow already.

The following days she shows improvement she can open her eyes already and can nod and shake her head with our questions that is answerable by yes or no but on the night of July 13 she shows difficulty in breathing and repeated on the morning of July 14, we decided to send her to the ICU already even if it's hard for us because we will not be able to see and talk to her in the ICU, as it is prohibited by the hospitals management in relation to Covid-19 protocol.

I'm so scared that time that I might not see my daughter again. After 5 days in the ICU, she shows a lot of improvement. She can lift her arms already and move her feet. The doctors extubate the tube inside her as she can breathe on her own already but still with the help of an oxygen. And after a day, she was transferred to a room out of the ICU.

But, last July 21 they X-ray my daughter and found out after checking the X-ray film that she also had pneumonia, another suffering for my daughter. I pray to God to help my daughter in her recovery.

I talk to my friends and even contacted my relatives to inform my daughters situation. They help me financially, spiritually and emotionally but that was not enough. My daughters condition cost a lot with her hospitalization and medication,my salary was not enough to cover all her medical expenses.

That's why I am here begging and appealing for your help. Please help my family in financing my daughters medication... she was a fighter and had a bright future ahead of her... I don't want this to be wasted.

Please help her. Help her to survive her battle, I'm begging you all please and please pray for her.
