Temporary furniture to support the Indigenous Society

Hello, nice to meet you,

My name is Darian Cruces and together with my friend Dennisse Paz Dominguez we are doing a project for our social service at Universidad La Salle México.

We need your contribution so that we can build this furniture for at least 4 people and help the Mexican Indigenous community.

Through a study we have seen a problem in terms of local sales support for indigenous people who resort to sitting on the pavements of the streets, so we want to give them comfortable and functional furniture that improves their point of sale for that in the future they do not have economic problems and promote their craft work in Mexico City.

It is a very big problem the fact that there is a large number of indigenous population in Mexico City, this population has lived here for years, through many generations; which have become a very vulnerable group due to the fact that they do not have decent housing, many do not speak current Spanish or are not fluent in it, and their rights are not fully respected in their communities or outside of them; For this reason, they resort to selling handicrafts in the streets, without any type of furniture or decent conditions to sell, so our solution is to increase a source of income and improve the mobility of products made by indigenous artisans and peasants, both men and women. through improving the point of sale through the design of furniture for a suitable, comfortable, flexible, economical and deployable position for ease of transport.

With this project we want to solve some UN objectives:

#8 Decent work and economic growth,

#10 Reduction of inequalities.
