I wish to go to the World Karate Championship in Brazil and represent Peru

Hello, I hope you are feeling well, I introduce myself. I am  David Limo Rios from Lima Peru. I have been teaching traditional Shotokan Karate for 3 years. This year I have taken my black belt in Traditional Shotokan Karate of the WTKF (SHODAN- World Traditional Karate Federation) and I have just been officially selected in the Peruvian National Team of Traditional Karate that will participate in October 2022 in the World Championship held in the city of Natal-Brazil.

I feel very honored to have the great opportunity to represent my country in this martial event of high importance and for this I need to finance my trip and the tickets that currently escape from my budget.

The costs of accommodation, training, uniform, registration, training and tickets we have to cover each one because we do not have the support of private institutions or the State, since we are a private institution that ensures the maintenance of traditional shotokan karate worldwide, specifically in Peru. This escapes the management of sports or municipal institutions that have interest in supporting the team for this event. In addition, these institutions tend to look more for the sporting and non-traditional side of this martial art, so the budgets tend to focus on this type of event.

 Thus, the minimum required budget that we have requested is  of 1800 US dollars per person(image attached) , this includes the above mentioned (only in airfare is estimated about 1200 dollars round trip). In this sense I request 1500 dollars at least to be able to register, my uniform, training, tickets and stay that I will require (5 days in Brazil) I need it no later than the last weeks of September. 

 That is why I ask for your voluntary help to fulfill this dream and pride to represent my country with a martial art that has given me much joy, peace, vehemence, perseverance and learning. Above all, because since I teach martial arts to my children, I have learned to love this martial art for all the personal benefits and pillars that give us.
