School Supplies Donation

We are the Flor de Caña Foundation, a non-profit organization that is concerned about the integration of our communities in environments of love, peace, joy, and a sense of belonging.

With our leadership and the support of people or entities that join our projects, we have been useful, and we want to help us all recover our identity and the path to peace and prosperity.

In our towns, difficulties are evident, problems are worsening, and social investment is lacking: El Tiple, San Joaquín and El Carmelo, townships of Candelaria (Valle del Cauca, Colombia) are inhabited by families with humble standards of living and very high purchasing power. low because rent, utilities, debts, and food are paid with income from a single minimum wage.

Children's education, although it is public and free for the fortune of their parents, also generates expenses for entering or returning to classes, since the cost of living is high, school supplies are expensive and to this is added the mandatory purchase of uniforms, shoes, and briefcases to be able to attend classes.

As an organization and as a team, we have been developing different activities to raise funds with the help of people who have better economic conditions, but we want to collect 300 school kits that can satisfy the basic or initial needs of students when they enter classes and be a relief for beneficiary families.

The money is needed by February 20, 2024, to buy the different supplies that will be part of the kit (Notebooks, Pencils, Colors, Rulers, Erasers, Pencil Sharpeners and Pencils) to assemble and deliver on Saturday, February 27, and Sunday, February 28 at the El Tiple, San Joaquín and El Carmelo townships of the municipality of Candelaria in Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
