Fundraiser for Mamang Milet's Kidney Transplant

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing fine. I am Jam Osit, 25 years old from Philippines. I am creating this fundraiser for my mother, Amelita Osit.

My mother was diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease last October 2022 and as of writing (Jan 4, 2023) her kidney function decreased to 9%.  I don't want to imagine what may happen for the next 3 months.

She has always been a strong person, physically and mentally. I admired her since I was a kid for being a tough mom but admired her more for being able a super mom after my father died. 

My father suffered a heart attack back in 2009 and been in coma for 9 months. My mom had no choice but to find a job to support me and my 5 siblings. She had to find various jobs to meet our needs. It was a tough time considering how young her kids were. 

This is where her complications started. Because of the problems she endured (my father's passing, working multiple jobs, taking care of 6 kids), her body developed hypertension. After nearly 12 years, her kidneys suffered and was damaged from all the medications for hypertension. She has been taken to the hospital for many times over the years but got diagnosed late with the kidney disease. 

Her kidney functions are deteriorating fast and in need of transplant as soon as possible. I am more than willing to donate my kidney bu to do this, we have to prepare a large amount of money (600k to 1.2m pesos).

My mom is only 52 years old. I know she can still fight this with your help. We are knocking on your good hearts. If you have extra money to spare, it doesn't matter how small or big, please do not hesitate to donate. It will be a very big help to our family.
