I want help to 11 evicted families, food, water and medicine

Hello everyone,

My name is Pool James Freyre Gonzales, I am 35 years old, I am a medical student of the 3rd year at the university Antenor Orrego in Peru, I live in the city of Iquitos, Peru (Peruvian Amazon) is a city located in the jungle surrounded by 3 rivers, Amazon, Itaya and Nanay river for that reason the only way to reach the Amazon is by boat sailing the rivers for more than 7 days depending on the rising or falling seasons, and by plane is reached in 2 hours from Lima the capital.

More than a story what I want to express, confess and ask for help, is a sad reality and a total and arbitrary abuse committed by the authorities, eleven families, including babies, children, adolescents, and elderly people of very limited resources, in a state of vulnerability, They were violently and brutally evicted after 4 years of struggle against the government so that they would not be removed from their humble homes, without taking into mind the regular process, without respecting human rights, without respecting life, without respecting the needs of the most vulnerable people, and without the right to any claim, they were thrown out into the street as if they were animals, not even animals are treated in such a cruel and merciless way, now for more than a week they have been sleeping outdoors without a shelter, taking in mind that there is a scorching sun that reaches temperatures of more than 35 degrees Celsius during the day, and when it rains, which is almost every day, the rains are torrential, and they do not have a shelter to hide or protect themselves from the sun or the rain, which brings with it exposure to many diseases as it is a tropical climate and infectious diseases are very common in this territory.

My desire, and my will to help them to rebuild their homes would be the least that could be done but I understand that it is a little more than 50,000.00 soles on average something of $15,000.00 USD for 11 families, the cheapest and most rustic materials of wood, calamines for the roofs, basic necessities such as food, water, medicine, school materials for kids, etc., and if that were not enough, the labor situation is too precarious. I do not pretend that we disappear, much less that we solve the problem or transform a society, but to help them and allow them to overcome this critical period they are going through, to express and show them strength, encouragement and a lot of hope so that they can get back on their feet and move forward on their own.

The money requested in the fundraising is to cover at least the most urgent and priority expenses such as food, water and medicine, and the ideal time to collect the money would be as soon as possible as these eleven families have been sleeping on the street for more than a week, but I understand that the time depends on the people with good hearts, solidarity, and with desire and willingness to help and encourage those in need.

I hope we can help these eleven families, and I am also grateful for the opportunity to tell the reality of my town to everyone, and that everyone knows that there is need everywhere.
