My hospitalization and treatment

Hello everyone,

These have been extremely difficult days... 😿

Diagnosis: PULMONARY EDEMA.

I came to the doctor for a "slight" labored breathing and a behavior that "my parents" described as "unusual". 🙀

The truth is that I "warned" them that I wasn't feeling well, doing different things that they managed to notice in time.

As soon as I got to the hospital, everything got so complicated that they had to I had to get into an oxygen cabin because I had a breath of 143 x min. The doctors said that I was less than 30 minutes away from suffering a respiratory arrest 😿

That same day I was admitted to intensive care.

On the third day they had to connect me to a tube because I couldn't wanted to receive food. I was really exhausted...

Although I received daily medication and special care, from Thursday morning, it was not until Sunday that I began to show improvement with the adjustment of medical treatment. Which drained my lungs and allowed my breathing rate to drop.

"My parents" never abandoned me, and although we don't have a car and we live just over 20 minutes from the hospital taking the highway; They went to visit me every day.

I felt that I would no longer see my parents and my close family was also feeling the same. 😿

On Monday I already wanted to eat solid food, they removed the tube and I was no longer breathing connected to oxygen, however there were sequelae and I must have a recovery / rehabilitation in my lungs to gradually return to my daily life so I have two more hospital appointments scheduled to rule out a more serious disease, and a follow-up X-ray.

I just hope it's a cold that got "too" complicated.

Right now I'm still taking antibiotics, diuretics, and steroids to keep draining the water I still have in my lungs.

I still feel tired, I'm weak, and I exhaust myself very quickly from almost anything. I already want to play, but I can't yet. 😿

Even so, I feel happy, grateful and stronger thanks to the fact that I finally returned home and am receiving care and lots of love.

Day the doctors called home super alarmed. They confessed a few days later that they really felt that I was already dying that day.

I was extremely exhausted all these days, but the visits from my PARENTS, my uncle Carlos at home, and the care in the hospital for part of the doctors were very helpful.

Last but not least, there is the chain of prayers and good wishes that was formed for me thanks to all of you who were on the lookout daily asking for my health and sending me strength and love so that I could recover.
